Once again, EXIT festival camp visitors had the opportunity to enjoy sustainable hair and body care products, provided by partner organization 123zero within the European INSPIRE project. Approximately 10,000 units of shampoo and body wash were distributed, four times more than last year, all in biodegradable packaging, promoting sustainability and the zero waste concept.
Over four days of activation, more than 3,000 campers took part, showing high satisfaction with the products. Through conversations and surveys, the 123zero team gathered valuable feedback to further raise awareness and contribute to making European festivals plastic-free in the future.
Survey results show strong environmental awareness among participants. Most of them expressed concern about microplastic pollution, while 82% said they would purchase zero waste, eco-friendly soaps and shampoos. Additionally, 68% said they would prefer monodose packaging for travel and festivals rather than carrying a full bottle.
Campers could also exchange their used plastic packaging from personal care products for plastic-free alternatives, helping collect 4 kg of plastic waste. As a token of appreciation, they received promotional socks and caps, and took part in fun educational activities promoting plastic-free and sustainable lifestyles.
